Yes, I must have tailored my punctuation accordingly. Vague sense that neither of us particularly needs the radically emphatic just now (though we may well need the radically sincere). One doesn't like to project such a shabby case of fellow feeling. Any case, my granary of enthusiasms stands ready. Just shout (natch) & all my notes of admiration are yours.

The grass on this path was greener back when there was grass.

Details are I was miserable for months assuming I'd fail because I've lacked time to do justice to the reading list. And am now annoyed to have lost all that time to worry, since I don't sense I was a marginal pass. Intenser versions of the normal test feelings, basically.

Also I learned that, as I always secretly suspected, when you disagree with an English person and another one's nearby they will join forces against you.
