Seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman's face on the same websites where people are squabbling about the Woody Allen business is giving me Doubt flashbacks.

I ran through what he'd then made as a teenager. Other than Crimes and Misdemeanors, which Match Point pretty much replaces, I've found most memorable the better '70s ones, among which I'd include Love & Death and Stardust Memories. The rest seem to be either too light to think about or unnecessary Bergman imitations.

excellent information, thanks ! w.r.t. Broadway Danny Rose, it's one i'd recommend that people see before bonfiring their Woody VHS's : Mia is pretty fantastic. hope to watch Love & Death soon !
