Maddy, pointing into a gas station: I see a man in that store.

Julie: Oh yeah? What's he doing?

Maddy: He's just in the store. (Beat.) Mans are good to look at.

Maddy, pointing to a Pac-Man style ghost on her shirt: Its mouth is unplugged.

Me: Your eyes a little tired?

Maddy, rubbing them: Yeah, from all that sleep.

Maddy, after hearing us talk about an upcoming birthday and then our schedules: Friday is good for Maddy. Saturday and birthday and thing are good. And then I sit down and eat it.

Julie: Eat what, cake?

Maddy: Yeah!
