imdb: Kenneth Branagh's remaking Sleuth with a Harold Pinter script and Michael Caine in Olivier's role, Jude Law in Caine's old one. Blasphemy, without the Pinter.

amazon: Coming out April 2 (my 31st), a Wilbur translation of l'Illusion Comique.

I wonder how good Fagles' Aeneid is?

Fagles seemed pretty good to me at a quick glance. "Wars and the man" is interesting. The end is powerful. A little colloquial, more Fitzgerald than Lattimore, but it might turn out to be the best contemporary English. I am planning to teach it this spring.
