Aug. 29th, 2007 11:51 pmEducation should address itself (but don't ask me how) to the twenty or so kinds of mistakes you make, routes of misthinking, when you don't know that they are that, routes, misthinking. It's hard to even talk to someone with five more of these open than you. And you hardly even have to when there's only a difference of a couple. Shit, there's probably thirty. Anyone with knowledge of ones I'm still victim to please change me (don't ask me how).
Speech with authority is a big damn lie but it's the only way to push past big number-gaps. The hope is they'll follow you, because they think you're right which you aren't, and in going where you go they'll have to move how you move, pick up the look of the tunnels one can't say are right but aren't clearly wrong. (Kafka's Burrow is AofI-ing me hard right now; the winter I read it was overly beautiful.)
It's such a relief when you realize nixing the wrongs is sufficient, not for bliss, but for access to bliss, to the cycles where blisses run free. The sometimes of sunlight and song in the notwrong.
