Been looking over the polls taken while I was away. The latest NBC and ABC ones polled for Obama/McCain/Barr/Nader as well as Obama/McCain alone: Obama's share barely changes--the Barr and Nader numbers essentially come out of McCain's. Which I guess means McCain is the second choice of everyone voting for Nader as well as for Barr. Kind of astonishing, and alarming too, since Naderites always stray from the fold as November nears. The good news is that they'll likely be munching bits off a much larger lead than the more frequently used two-party poll model suggests.

Who on earth freely switches between Nader and McCain, though? Are these those disgruntled, diehard Clinton fans still mentioned now and then? Curious people.
