Nov. 7th, 2009 11:35 amLast night we saw The Box. There's a particularly pretentious line of dialogue at one point ("You can't say they're not without a certain sense of humor"), a triple negative that means to be a double, and that's pretty much synecdochic of the movie.
On the way home we were starving and everything was closed and we stopped at Taco Bell. Their drive-through menu is hilarious. There are at least fifty items and they all sound potentially identical. We cracked up at it for five minutes. They must have thought we were very drunk. We were deathly afraid of accidentally ordering that dripping volcanic thing from the commercials; Julie went with the new black taco, which actually had a picture, on the grounds that it looked like it had only four ingredients.
