The trouble is it invites us to identify with it as a whole: by its promises to annul death, by our experiencing the it we do as all the it we could, by making us feel we're one and that it is one.

By putting us to sleep when we have our part, then taking it out of our hands and burying it somewhere different nearby, so it eventually turns up again when we repeat what feels like our own one action time after same-feeling time across its unified-looking landscape.

You see what meditators are getting at: because the wholeness happens in the mind and the parts evade us in the world, well, screw the world (some go further and say screw the mind, thinking rightful meditating unscrews you from both). But while cheats are possible and exquisite they don't work that way: the enemy long ago booby-trapped both black and white - they were simply too easy to find. Mockups of both may be sought in the green.

We're to it as zipper carriages are to zipper teeth.

Or we're to it as middle green to grass.

Or we're to it as you are to what I've forgotten.

As cups are to rains that fill, overfill then finally carry them off.

As the hardest word to say is to people who speak it slightly more often than never.

Anything but what's implied (snuck in) by the gap between two pronouns.
