Needed: a wakeup routine for the soul.

Some quick roundup of all the reminders of lessons we keep on assuming we'll never forget. Where that very confidence is probably what allows them to fade from sight in plain sight.

Oh, right, being correct doesn't mean you own what you're being correct about, or own the state of correctness.

Ah yes, letting yourself be proud that you've planned to do a good thing is not an ideal form of self-reward when it's "aw yeah" bonds unto annihilation with the "oh no" of the problem that doing that thing would have solved, such that insufficient anxiety remains to remind you to actually do it.

Of course! Time never goes backwards, not just seldom!

Hey yeah, people would like to get the sense they fit in some place in the universe you're describing.

Yesss, if something is a great positive it is probably okay to act like it is a little.

Dang near plum forgot that imagination knocks down nearly all walls, and that even those that can't all exist inside it.

The ocean is still there doing that. And fifty feet down shore it's doing that also. And the shore keeps going all the way around. And the ocean is always touching it. Duh.

People not wanting to just hear about what they're doing wrong is entirely justified given that at any given second we're all doing tons of things and most of those are very nice by non-asshole standards, like breathing and swaying slightly and listening and considering and providing shade? I swear I knew that.

The sizeable minimum amount of respect and interest I extend to all other individual human beings close up and wouldn't know how not to is probably similar to what they grant me, hence trust or it's amiable precursors should be something I extend to both them and myself, thus preemptively short circuiting most emergences of noxious drama? Re-eureka!

Can't quite remember the rest.

One can but assume.

But can one assume?

One can assume, but.
