May. 15th, 2016 11:35 pmLive oaks look like they're trying to smack all their leaves off onto the ground. Like if you woke up and leaves were growing out of your fingertips and toes and ears and stuff. How you'd be for the first minute or two.
Also they were really gross in the winter, at least where we used to be. You'd think you'd be like, oh, they're green all the year 'round, how amazing, how tropical, from a land where no winter could be, paradise on earth etc. But the leaves just stick around toward the bottom. Like a grass skirt on the skeleton of a male hula dancer.
I just felt like getting all that off my chest about live oaks.
