Shows that are not obviously over but have been really good so far: Better Call Saul, Hannibal, Louie, Nathan for You, Mr. Robot, Curb Your Enthusiasm
Shows really good for some multi-season portion of their run: Adventure Time (4-6 definitely; 3-7?; 2-8?), Community (2-3 definitely, maybe also 5-6?), The Walking Dead (4-6?), Veep (2-4?), Deadwood (2-3), Futurama (2-4), The Simpsons (3-8?), Mad Men (4-6? 3-7? whole thing?), The Americans (2-4? - haven't seen 5 but others seem disappointed)
Shows with just one really good season: Flight of the Conchords (1), Mr. Show (3), Fawlty Towers (2), American Horror Story (2), Six Feet Under (1)
Shows (at least so far) consisting of one really good season: Angels in America, Horace and Pete, The Night Of, Big Little Lies, Top of the Lake (wasn't it?), Westworld
Shows with a few really good episodes: original Twin Peaks (the Lynches), Black Mirror (San Junipero, the memory one, maybe the soldier one), Buffy (surely?), Angel (surely?), Parks and Recreation, Seinfeld (surely?), Rick and Morty
Shows with one really good episode: relaunched X-Files (the werewolf one)
Shows with some really good scenes/sequences: relaunched Twin Peaks (not sure what to make of it as a whole yet), Extras (Stewart, McKellen), The Ricky Gervais Show (maybe some amounting to whole episodes), That Mitchell and Webb Look, The Ali G Show (US), Saturday Night Live (e.g. On a Boat), Game of Thrones (not enough), Penny Dreadful
Shows where something really good was promised really well but never showed: Lost, True Detective
