proximoceptionA few weeks ago the one mental grocery list item, different each time, that I inevitably can't remember drove me to draw a human figure and write in all the product categories it might have belonged to at the appropriate part of the body. The stomach and head had a lot, so the outline had to be expanded there, resulting in a homunculus-like figure dense with words. I feel like someone in c. 1680 must have already done this.
The idea was to jog my memory, obviously, but completism took over. And itt didn't end up working--the item was some kind of apartment thing. Maybe a battery? Can't remember. [2011 edit: cat food, wrong body]
I didn't save it. It was the most fun I'd had with paper since Julie and I aggressively annotated the lyrics to Katy Perry's "Waking Up in Vegas" last year. Which I did save.
