Turned 29, got the Longman v.2, am loving Little, Big though no longer sure where it's going. Haven't wanted a book to go on forever like this since Moby-Dick in 2003. Strange, lovely state of ultimate trust between author and reader. I've resolved to buy all cheap copies I run across hereforward, for distribution among the deserving.

happy birthday!

I've read a few things on line about Little, Big--sounds fascinating...

Indeed, happy birthday!

I like Longman myself--not as many damn excerpts as Norton. Keep us all posted on Little, Big.

Bon Anniversaire!

Was it today or yesterday? Just curious, since a certain favorite Victorian poet of mine happened to be born today.

p.s. I trust your literary judgment (and here I thought I was the only other person under 30 who never wanted Moby Dick to end), and you've certainly convinced me to go find myself a copy of Little, Big . . .

Heh.
That's exactly what I've done over the last few years...
