I.e. not much to see in Scorsese's Hugo. For videos, The Ward has some fantastic, almost Elizabeth Berkley-level bad acting from Amber Heard but is otherwise bottom drawer. Julie made me watch the last two Paranormal Activity movies but they bored the boiled jesus out of me. She knows they're inane but the cam-horror genre works on her. Horrible Bosses amused me much more than I'd anticipated - amused Julie rather less.

But Grizzly Man and Rescue Dawn are both great Herzogs.

I liked it. I liked seeing not much, for a long time. I liked the first use of 3D that made some kind of sense, much as I hate 3D.

Herzog

What do you think of his "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" (2010) ?

I thought it was a great way to share and explain the cave, but not so great as a Herzog movie.
