proximoceptionDeep Blue Sea: Damn! Davies, Weisz, Beale and Hiddleston sure get everything you possibly could out of the play. Not to knock Rattigan, the most appealing of minor playwrights, but they found deeps, hues and waters he probably didn't see there himself. Goes in my overachievement annals.
Take Shelter and maybe Poetry were a cut above, among the few recent movies I saw this year, but this one's at least as good as Winter's Bone, Martha Marcy May Marlene, and Cabin in the Woods.
Canadian Netflix is good at finding ways to just barely earn its keep. Must be a real art to that.
