Also: no dove mentions. Two or three in AtPH, I think 10 or more in The Crossing. I should look back at those and see if any seem to relate to Boyd, since if the wolf is Thoreau's hound and the bay horse his bay horse, Boyd (object of Billy's third trip) must be the dove disappearing behind a cloud.
