Fear the Walking Dead's 2B was really terrible. So terrible, in fact, that it feels like it must be the result of a major creative team reshuffling or similarly heavy handed network meddling. We're done with it, I think.

TV's been in its fallow period in general lately. We've been trying You're the Worst, which is pretty bad 95 percent of the time, good 5, and running through Veep (0 bad, 100 good of course). And of course Westworld, which is mysterious enough that no one yet knows if it's great or a fizzle.

First half of 2017 will feature Fargo, The Americans, Better Call Saul, The Leftovers, and Twin Peaks - looks like for a few weeks all five may even overlap (!) - as well as the Hannibal guy's new show American Gods and the Fargo guy's Legion, Veep, Rick and Morty, the bulk of Adventure Time season 8 (I assume), Walking Dead's back half, Silicon Valley (which we haven't tried yet) and I'm told Game of Thrones. Imbalanced calendar 'swhat I'm saying.

Hope Nathan for You will be back soon at least.

Early 2017 will also have The Young Pope which looks bad in the preview but is created/directed by the guy who made The Great Beauty.

Yeah, I do like Atlanta. Hated what little of Great Beauty I got through, but will try anything once.
